How many times have you heard that you should "write to your Senator" if you feel displeased with the job that they're doing in office? Don't bother; Chuck Schumer probably uses your letter as a cheaper alternative to firewood.

Whether or not you agree with the Tea Party (who are staging demonstrations due to the rampant overspending that has become commonplace from both parties in Washington) you, as an American voter, undoubtedly support their zeal.

And that's because it's become obvious that while you and I might disagree on healthcare, or abortion, or gay marriage, or one of any number of divisive issues our country must handle today, there is one thing that every American of voting age can agree on; it's about time we end the hypocrisy and corruption in Washington. It's supposed to be a "government of the people, by the people, for the people." But since our politicians only seem to know money, Americans are stuck repeating the phrase on the back of a dollar bill every time we hear about the newest decision from Washington; "In God We Trust."
