Every couple has their share of squabbles, but when a married father of eight kids, two dogs and a new $ 1.3 million home, is found lingering at the local bar flirting with college girls, problems and rumors arise.

TLC's hit reality show, Jon and Kate plus 8, have captured the hearts of millions around the world. With a set of twins and two sets of multiples, their lives are not what some would consider normal. Jon and Kate Gosselin are idols to some but due to recent events, their loving and devoted fans are found bad-mouthing the couple.

The Gosselins' story started when the couple's desire to start a family was interrupted by Kate's diagnosis of polycystic ovary syndrome. Luckily, when she began her fertility treatments, things started looking up. In October of 2000, Kate delivered her set of twins, Cara and Madelyn. Life was simple for the newlyweds and their twins, but when Kate's desire for one more child became overwhelming, they took the risk once more.
This time, instead of one little Gosselin, she was blessed with six. May of 2004 must have been a rough year, since it was when Kate delivered Alexis, Hannah, Aaden, Collin, Leah and Joel. These six little bundles of joy were what started their story and their claim to fame on Discovery Health in 2006. Their show was called Surviving Sextuplets and Twins.
Then, when TLC bought the show from Discovery Health, in 2007, the show took off. It captured the lives of the ten family members in their Pennsylvania home with everyday problems, silly antics and hysterical moments. This family seemed to be a supporting, loving family until something happened with Jon.
According to the series finale aired March 23rd, the couple has things to work out. Jon claims that it is 'really difficult on his end'. Who knows if it is due to Kate's nagging or constant cleaning, but something has happened. Throughout the show, we see Jon and Kate arguing about ridiculous everyday problems, Kate bonking Jon on the head for no reason and the occasional embarrassing moment in public, but who knew it would get this far?
