Lady Flyers Soccer Earns First Win

The Lady Flyers soccer team has been unsuccessful coming out of the gate. They have started the season with a 0-5 record.
During the first five games, the team has been shut-out four times and scored its lone goal in its last outing against St. Thomas Aquinas College in a 4-1 defeat. In that span, the team was outscored 30-1.
That one goal was scored by Jessica Johnson to give the Flyers a 1-0 lead, but four unanswered goals lead to Mercy's demise.
The team earned its first win on Oct. 22 at Concordia, 1-0.
